Movie Trivia Quiz: Thousands of Film Questions, Solo or Live Multiplayer

How to play

Choose a themed round or a general mix, then answer 15 multiple-choice questions with 20 seconds on the clock for each. Faster correct answers earn more points and build a combo streak.

Two power-ups help when you're stuck: 50/50 removes two wrong answers, and Skip lets you pass a question without breaking your streak. Each can be used once per round.

Questions span Golden Age Hollywood, cult classics, animation, franchise lore, directors, quotes and box office history. Themed rounds include Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and more.

Multiplayer mode lets you create a room, share the code and race friends in real time with the same questions and a live scoreboard.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play FilmIQ movie trivia with friends online?

Yes. Open Multiplayer, create a room and share the six-character code. Everyone answers the same questions at the same time and the scoreboard updates live.

How many trivia questions does FilmIQ have?

Thousands, across general film knowledge and themed packs. Questions are shuffled each round so repeats are rare.

Is the movie trivia quiz free?

Yes. Solo and multiplayer trivia are free to play in any modern browser with no download.

How is the trivia scored?

Each correct answer scores base points plus a bonus for speed. Consecutive correct answers build a combo multiplier, and using a power-up doesn't reset it.
